Functional Training

Functional Training is a mode of training that takes into account how your body moves naturally.
To do some traditional exercise that we have done in the gym with many pieces of equipment are very
"unfunctional". If you assess how the exercise is performed or how the machine makes you move,
often we don’t imitate those movements in life. If you do a leg extension for example, you are
taking the quadriceps muscles and working them independently of the rest of the body. When in
your daily movements would you use the quadriceps independent of the rest of your body?
